OneCNC multiple parts are a great time saver

Multiple Parts
OneCNC has automated the procedure of processing multiple parts. There are various methods used depending on the machine control and whether they are from a single billet or multiple billets in multiple vices or fixtures. The methods used include sub-routines, sub-programs, or automatically generated multiple programs all displaced from the original one program position.

The method shown in the video above is on a Haas vertical machining centre using the G52 sub-routine method of multiple parts from a single billet of material. OneCNC also utilizes work shift method of using G54 G55 G56 etc for situations of multiple vices or fixtures. All of these methods are wizard driven to produce the 3 axis programs of the required multiple parts. Tool sorting is implemented to reduce the number of tool changes further reducing the machining time.

This is just another example of how OneCNC is at the forefront of providing tools for maximum efficiency.

In the case of Heidenhain the programs are automatically displaced by the datum shift method.
